I'm referring to the book, not the time of day.  Somehow in the midst of the crazy writing the past four days, I've been reading Twilight.  Not because I really had an interest in it (it's actually been sitting on my shelf for a week or two, and I had to read it now because it's due at the library), but because of all the comments I hear about it.  And because I have a teenage girl who I'm sort of acting as a writing mentor to, and she keeps raving about it and telling me how fantastic it is and how I have to read it, and yet some of you on my flist--especially emmaorgana--have listed numerous reasons why the series is disturbing.  So I thought I should attempt to read it to get an objective view of my own on it.  And...I'm now going to rant, but shall do it under a cut. ;)
